WRRB Public Hearing, 5-6 August 2010

Following review of the Revised Joint Proposal on Caribou Management Actions in Wek'eezhii submitted by the GNWT and Tlicho Government, the WRRB has ruled to accept the proposal as submitted and considers it a revision only of the original November 2009 Joint Proposal.  The Board will hold a public hearing in Behchoko, NT, on August 5-6 to hear closing comments from all registered Parties.  Upon adjournment, the WRRB will review all the information on the record and submit their final decision to the GNWT and Tlicho Government by no later than October 9.

Notice of Revised Bathurst Caribou Joint Proposal

As per the WRRB's March 26, 2010 ruling, the Tlicho Government and the Government of the Northwest Territories have submitted a Revised Joint Proposal on Caribou Management Actions in Wek'eezhii. The Board is reviewing the revised proposal along with comments from all Parties and will set out a timeline for completion of the proceeding shortly.
